CleanHub Return & Refund Policy
Approval required before returning merchandise
Contact CleanHub at 844-426-3100 within 30 days of delivery or in-store purchase to request a return authorization. Include your order number, the items and quantities, and your reason for returning them.
Submitting a request does not authorize a return or guarantee a refund. Wait for written approval and shipping instructions before sending anything back. Approved returns must be shipped within 14 days of authorization.
Changed your mind or ordered the wrong item?
Eligible regularly stocked merchandise must be unused, unopened, complete, and in original packaging suitable for resale.
Customer-requested returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee calculated on the returned merchandise’s purchase price after discounts. Original shipping, freight, and delivery charges are nonrefundable.
The customer pays all return shipping, packaging, insurance, and applicable carrier charges. CleanHub does not provide free return labels for these returns. If we arrange a label at your request, we will disclose its cost for your approval and deduct that amount from your refund.
Chemicals, liquid gallons, and cases
Chemical returns require prior approval. Containers must be unopened, factory-sealed, undamaged, and free of leakage or contamination, with original labels intact. Cases purchased as a case must be returned complete.
Opened, used, diluted, mixed, or improperly stored chemicals are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Hazardous materials are not eligible for ordinary returns.
Customers are responsible for properly packaging approved returns and following applicable carrier requirements. Do not ship leaking or damaged chemicals; contact us for instructions.
Other excluded merchandise
Special-order or custom products, items marked final sale, installed parts, used equipment, and opened protective equipment are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Defect and warranty requests are reviewed separately.
Inspection and refunds
Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the authorized merchandise. Eligible refunds go to the original payment method, less the disclosed restocking fee and approved shipping deductions, with applicable tax adjustments.
Items that arrive used, incomplete, damaged, or otherwise outside the approved conditions may be ineligible. We will contact you before arranging any further shipment at your expense.
Shipping damage, incorrect items, or defects
Inspect deliveries promptly and contact us as soon as a problem is discovered. Provide your order number, affected quantities, and photographs of the products, packaging, and shipping label when safe to do so. Retain packaging and affected merchandise safely for possible carrier inspection.
These requests are reviewed separately from change-of-mind returns. We will provide instructions and determine the appropriate remedy for the affected merchandise. Damage to one container does not automatically establish that every container in a case requires a refund.
Do not return or dispose of affected products until you receive instructions, unless immediate action is necessary for safety. Customer-paid return freight and restocking fees for change-of-mind returns do not apply to verified CleanHub fulfillment errors or goods damaged on arrival.
This policy does not limit rights or remedies required by applicable law.
CleanHub Chemical Freight Zone Program
CleanHub offers free base freight on qualifying chemical orders shipped within the contiguous United States. The applicable minimum is based on the delivery zone and is calculated from the qualifying merchandise subtotal after all product and quantity discounts and before taxes.

Western Zone — Free freight at $600+
States: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, and Utah.
Central/Midwest Zone — Free freight at $1,200+
States: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.
Eastern Zone — Free freight at $1,800+
States: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, plus the District of Columbia.
How Discounts Affect Qualification
- Products receiving a quantity or case discount count toward the applicable zone minimum at their discounted merchandise value.
- The applicable minimum must be met after all product and quantity discounts and before taxes and freight charges.
- For mixed carts, only qualifying chemical merchandise counts toward the zone minimum. Freight charges may still apply to nonqualifying items.
What Qualifies
- The required minimum must consist of qualifying, regularly stocked, non-hazardous chemical products.
- Hazardous-material chemicals, special-order products, equipment, parts, tools, and other nonqualifying items do not count toward the zone minimum.
- Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international destinations require a separate freight quote.
What Free Base Freight Covers
Free base freight covers standard commercial delivery using the carrier and shipping method selected by CleanHub. The customer is responsible for hazardous-material fees and accessorial charges, including residential delivery, liftgate service, limited-access delivery, inside delivery, delivery appointments, redelivery, storage, and address-correction fees.
Requested carriers, expedited service, or other special shipping arrangements may be available for an additional charge. CleanHub reserves the right to review eligibility and adjust or decline freight assistance when an order requires unusual handling or creates extraordinary freight expense.
Order Processing
CleanHub processes orders Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Please allow 1–2 business days for handling. UPS pickup is generally around 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time; orders received after the daily pickup may enter the next business day’s processing queue. Freight orders, special orders, large orders, and orders requiring additional review may need extra processing time.
Shipping Methods
Orders are shipped using the most practical and cost-effective method, including parcel, local carrier, or LTL freight. Expedited services may be requested and will incur additional charges. If you request a specific carrier, you are responsible for any difference in cost.
Hazardous Materials
Some chemicals are classified as hazardous materials by the carrier. Hazardous products do not qualify toward the freight-zone purchase minimum, and all hazardous-material fees remain the customer’s responsibility. Shipping methods and quantities may be restricted by the carrier. Please contact CleanHub at 844-426-3100 if you have questions about a product.
Damage in Shipment
Inspect your shipment promptly. Report visible damage to the delivering carrier and note it on the delivery receipt before signing. Retain the original carton, pallet, packaging, and delivery paperwork because they may be required for a claim. Contact CleanHub as soon as possible so we can assist.
Shortage of Merchandise
If your shipment shows an item as shipped but the item is not included, please notify CleanHub as soon as possible.
