Prochem Truckmount Descaler is a powdered acidic treatment for removing hard-water scale and mineral deposits from truckmount heat exchangers, fittings, valves, screens, metering systems, sensors and water lines. One 2 lb container treats one truckmount.
Use: Disconnect the water inlet and solution outlet hoses. Drain half the water box while leaving at least 1 gallon. Warm the water, then slowly dissolve the full 2 lb container while the machine runs. Circulate 15 minutes, flush with clear water for 5 minutes, add 1/2 cup of liquid extraction detergent and run 2–5 minutes to neutralize residual acid, then flush again. RTU pH: approximately 1.0–1.6.
