The REMOTE WELL screws into the brass heater coil manifold. All necessary seals and spacers are included to secure the temperature control unit's capillary tube (sold separately) to the heater coil manifold. Fresh THERMAL COMPOUND is recommended anytime the REMOTE WELL or TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNIT are replaced.

Note: If updating an old style temperature control unit (where there's a coil at the end of the copper capillary tube) to the current style (solid probe on the end of the copper capillary tube), this remote well and thermal compound are needed.
