Tramex ME5 Moisture Encounter 5

The Tramex Moisture Encounter 5, ME5, is a pinless moisture meter for detecting moisture in most building materials. As a wood moisture meter, the ME5 provides actual moisture content % readings. The ME5 also functions as a moisture meter for drywall, plaster, roofing, tile and masonry to help determine moisture content levels in walls, ceilings and floors.

Dual Depth Moisture Meter

The Dual Depth feature of the ME5 makes it possible to determine where the moisture is located within the material. The shallow-depth readings, up to ⅜” (10mm),  and deep-depth readings, up to 1¼" (30mm), can be used to compare surface moisture and core moisture and eliminate the influence of the substrate when testing coverings.

This general moisture meter detects moisture through paint, wallpaper, drywall, ceramic tiles, floor coverings, wood, ceiling tiles, roofing membranes, and asphalt composition shingles and makes it the best moisture meter for testing in, through and behind a wide range of building materials. 

Moisture Mapping & Data Documentation

Moisture readings can be visualized with the Tramex Meters App and turned into moisture maps, reports and charts for sharing. Bluetooth connectivity to mobile devices also helps to GeoTag test results, create, save and share photos.
