MasterBlend Repel Wool Fiber Protector is a wool treatment for clean carpets and rugs that helps deter carpet beetles and moths by making fibers less appetizing. One 2 lb jar treats up to 16,000 square feet and has a ready-to-use pH of 3.1.
Mixing Instructions: Mix 1/2 scoop (0.75 oz) of Repel and 1 capful of MasterBlend Oriental Rug Shampoo, or another neutral-pH detergent, with 1 gallon of water. Apply at 1 gallon per 400 square feet. Use additional solution on deeper piles, spray area rugs on both sides, cover edges and turnunders thoroughly, and brush the pile after application.
Use: Test an inconspicuous area for colorfastness or color change before use. Do not breathe powder while mixing; use appropriate respiratory protection when mixing or spraying indoors. Reapply after the rug is washed.
